UB Stadium
Buffalo, NY

UB Stadium, home of the University of Buffalo Bulls is the newest stadium in the Mid America Conference. Prior to its opening in 1993, the football team had played at the old UB Stadium. It was a small stadium with a capacity of roughly 5,000. By the late 1980’s, the university decided to build a new state of the art facility for the football team and other sports.

In the early 1990’s construction of a new stadium had begun and was completed by the start of the 1993 football season. The Bills played their first game at UB Stadium on September 4, 1993. The $23 million stadium has a seating capacity of 31,000 that includes 12 luxury suites. Single tier grandstands, broken apart, surround the gridiron. Other than being the home to the football team, UB Stadium is home to the track team.
