Paulson Stadium, home of the Georgia Southern Eagles

Nicknamed, “The Prettiest Little Stadium in America” the Georgia Southern Eagles made the jump to the Sun Belt Conference in 2014. Paulson stadium opened in 1984 when the Eagles played Liberty Baptist on September 29th. The facility was named after Allen E. Paulson who donated $1 million towards the $4.7 million construction cost. Paulson Stadium originally had a seating capacity of 18,000 but was expanded to seat 21,000 before the start of the 2013 season.
