Logan, UT

The Utah State Aggies are the latest team to join the WAC as a football member. For nearly four decades, the Aggies have been playing at Romney Stadium. In the mid 1960's the school decided to construct a new stadium for its football program. On September 14, 1968, the Aggies played their first game at the stadium against New Mexico State.

The stadium was originally known as USU Stadium and had seating in a horseshoe configuration. Since its opening, the stadium has got its current name, Romney Stadium, and in 1999 new bleachers, scoreboards, and a sound system was added to the facility. The Aggies are currently in the process of expanding Romney Stadium with addition seating areas, a new pressbox, and club areas for fans.
